Technology and Digital Solutions Manager

The Opportunity

Job holder will provide oversight of IT and digital solutions for Save the Children Malawi country office through research and development or customizing of applications; monitor, follow-up and ensures proper functionality of existing technologies and systems using strategic mechanism within the framework of the agency IT Policy and standardization. 

In order to be successful, you will bring/have:

EDUCATION QUALIFICATION

Degree in Information Technology or Computer Sciences or any other related field from a reputable institution.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in ICT Support
  • Familiar with all day-to-day aspects of managing the IT needs of an organization, with specific areas of the role involving familiarity with Windows and MS Office Products and LAN/WAN infrastructures (routers, modems, switches). Troubleshoot and administer a Microsoft Windows-based network (LAN) and servers, good working knowledge of Windows server and domain system configuration, antivirus software for workstations and servers, etc.
  • Experience managing and troubleshooting corporate apps like MS365, MDM Microsoft 365, MFA, etc.
  • Experience in delivering Technology for Development Projects (T4D)
  • Good communication skills and a solid positive attitude toward learning
  • Fluency in written and spoken English
  • Previous experience in an INGO is an advantage but not a requirement
  • Ability and experience in training end users or staff

  • Having excellent proficiency in spoken and written English with strong interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to work effectively in team situations.
  • Experience managing and troubleshooting corporate apps like MS365, MDM Microsoft 365, MFA, etc.
  • Experience in delivering Technology for Development Projects (T4D)
  • Previous experience in an INGO is an advantage but not a requirement
  • Ability and experience in training end users or staff
  • Have commitment to work longer hours/weekends or on remote field visits whenever needed.

  • PERCENTAGE OF TRAVEL (Out of duty station if applicable).
  • 20% travel to field offices in relation to deployment of applications
